Mountain States Health Alliance
 
Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA) is a locally owned and managed healthcare system based in Johnson City, Tennessee.  
 
Today, MSHA is integrated both vertically and horizontally and is the largest regional healthcare system with 14 hospitals. MSHA provides an integrated, comprehensive continuum of care to people in 29 counties in Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina. Each hospital is fully accredited, most by The Joint Commission.

BVU is committed to providing you with safe, efficient, and reliable electric, water, wastewater and fiber-optic services in the most courteous and professional manner and at the lowest possible cost.  
 
Bristol Virginia Utilities is a municipally owned system, providing electric, water, wastewater and fiber- optic telecommunication and information services to the City of Bristol, Virginia and the surrounding area. These combined systems employ 102 people. We are governed by a six member Board appointed by City Council. Five members are from the City of Bristol and one member is from the Washington County Board of Supervisors. The Utilities Board meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 12:15 p.m.  
 
BVUs Electric System provides electric power to over 16,100 consumers in a 125 square mile service area, comprised of the City of Bristol, Virginia and portions of Washington County, Virginia, Scott County, Virginia and Sullivan County, Tennessee. We have ten substations in our system and approximately 577 miles of distribution lines and 29 miles of transmission lines.
